Studio Offerings
Standard Private Lessons Package (Piano, Singing/Voice)
The Standard Lesson Package is the most popular lesson package the studio offers. Students receive 36 lessons per year. The studio year starts in September after Labor Day. September through May students take a weekly lesson at a standing, weekly reserved time, which, when studio breaks are accounted for, comprises 30 weeks of lessons. The remaining 6 lessons are scheduled flexibly between June and August. Lessons may be cancelled and rescheduled within 12 hours of a scheduled lesson. See the studio policy for details.
Students with the Standard package who are prepared for such events will have the opportunity/option to participate in:
- One or more studio recitals per year
- National Federation of Music Clubs Spring Festival
- Various Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association and Virginia Music Teachers Association Festivals and Events
- Royal Conservatory of Music assessments

The Busy High Schooler Package
High school students have the option of taking Standard Lessons or opting for the studio’s Busy High Schooler Package. Students receive 20 lessons per year. Students will share one or two time slots with one or two other students, and lessons will be scheduled on a rotating basis (September through May) and flexibly during June, July, and August. Students may cancel and reschedule a lesson within 6 hours of a scheduled lesson. See the studio policy for details.
Students with the High School package who are prepared for such events will have the opportunity to participate in:
- One or more studio recitals per year
- National Federation of Music Clubs Spring Festival
- Various Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association and Virginia Music Teachers Association Festivals and Events
- Royal Conservatory of Music assessments

Six Lessons
Students who may not be ready to make an annual commitment or who have short-term goals may choose package of 6 45-minute lessons. Students with a 6-lesson package are not guaranteed a specific lesson time each week, but rather must schedule their lessons in any open slots in the studio calendar. Lessons may be cancelled and rescheduled with 24 hours notice. Students opting for the 6-lesson package are not eligible to participate in studio recitals, outside festivals, or Royal Conservatory assessments with the studio. The cost for a six lesson package is $648. (At certain times, this package may be unavailable, depending on the annual students’ schedule).
Single Lessons
Single 45-minute lessons are offered at a rate of $130 for 45 minutes. These lessons may be scheduled in designated times outside of the regular annual student schedule. Lessons may be cancelled and rescheduled with 24 hours notice. Students opting for single lessons are not eligible to participate in studio recitals, outside festivals, or Royal Conservatory assessments with the studio.
